4 WRONG WAYS TO USE ILLUMINATION

As the technique of “Strobing” the most used after the contour is easy to get excited about the power illumination. However, using an illumination is not as simple as it sounds. Get to know the list of four common mistakes and how you can avoid them!

1. Use the wrong tone

4 WRONG WAYS TO USE ILLUMINATION

The illuminators were not made for all skin tones. Make sure you use a bright illuminator that fuses well to the skin instead of an illuminator that contrasts with your skin tone. If your skin tone is medium to dark, opt for golden peach or bronze tones. Clear Skin? So opt for more translucent tones and ivory.

2. Wrong application

Do you use a cream light? So you should not use a brush or sponge as it may get an uneven finish. Warm the product between your fingers and apply it to the areas to be illuminated. Do you use a liquid illumination on a powder base? Do not! This may cause the base to become uneven and stained. Choose instead a powder illumination or a liquid color base .

Another common mistake in applying the illumination is being impatient. When using a liquid illumination on a liquid color basis, you should wait for them to dry first. Then, fix the make-up with a translucent powder .

3. Application in the wrong places

The illumination can make your face look wider if you do not highlight the right areas. This product was developed to enhance the cheekbones, cupid bow and nose. Then you will naturally lose that effect if you apply it all over your face.

4. Excessive application

Too much light will make you look too bright instead of looking healthy and refreshed. So keep in mind that the illumination should reflect the light to a coarse refreshed.

The amount to apply also depends on the light quality of the environment where it is. For environments with a softer light, you can apply more, but in the sunlight, it is best to keep the illumination discreet. One tip is to apply the illumination under the same type of light that will be later, not to be surprised by the intensity of the brightness!
